What does a monthly stay at River Time Retreat cost?
$2,750 per month, all-inclusive, with a 30-night minimum. That covers electricity, water, sewer, trash and high-speed WiFi, plus all furnishings, cookware and linens. There is no cleaning fee. A $1,500 refundable security deposit applies, and a $500 refundable pet deposit if you bring a dog.
Are utilities included in the monthly rent?
Yes. Electricity, water, sewer, trash and internet are all included in the monthly rate. There are no utility accounts to open in your name and no overage billing, which matters when you are only here for a few months.
What is the minimum stay?
30 nights. Stays shorter than 30 nights are booked nightly through Airbnb instead. Monthly stays are arranged directly rather than through the nightly calendar.
Is the cabin pet friendly for a long stay?
Yes. Dogs are welcome, there is a fenced yard area, and a refundable pet deposit applies. Dog-friendly trails and river access are within walking distance.
How far is Carson, WA from Hood River and White Salmon?
White Salmon and Skyline Health are about 25 minutes east on SR-14, entirely on the Washington side, with no bridge and no toll. Hood River and Providence Hood River Memorial are about 30 minutes, crossing the Hood River Bridge, which tolls $1.75 per crossing with a BreezeBy transponder. Stevenson is about 12 minutes, Vancouver about 55 minutes, and Portland International about 80 minutes.
Is there a washer and dryer in the unit?
Yes, a full-size washer and dryer inside the cabin. Not shared, not coin-operated, and not in a separate building.
How many people can stay?
The occupancy limit is four. The cabin is 616 square feet with two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one full bathroom.
Can I extend a monthly stay?
Yes. Stays continue month to month after the initial term. Extensions are routine, especially for assignments that run longer than planned or repairs that take longer than expected.
